Supplying Herds
We work with a strong supply network of herds which include the largest and highest producing Holstein herds in Chile, Uruguay and the United States. Our supplying herds understand our quality expectations for genetics, nutrition and health protocols from birth through delivery to the pre-export quarantine facilities. In addition, all selected animals are tagged with radio frequency identification (RFID) tags in the farms of origin to provide end-to-end traceability for our customers.

In order to ensure our international customers long term success with their purchases of live cattle from abroad, Asia Pacific has developed its own protocols for treatments and vaccination that enhance the established bilateral protocols for export. Not only are there developed protocols related to the serological health of the livestock exported, but also strict guidelines for nutrition as well.

Environment & Sustainability
ByNicolasDanyau-38.jpg

As a company, our core values are based on being good stewards of the livestock and businesses placed under our care. Throughout the export process, you will see investments by Asia Pacific in the care of the livestock and land under our management.

Regarding sustainability, our promotion of elite beef and dairy genetics within supplying and importing countries offers the greatest return on investment and impact on sustainability. Through the implementation of sexed semen, genomic testing and IVF technologies, we will continue to see higher producing, more fertile and more feed efficient cattle globally which will require less land and water resources with lower overall methane emissions.
